The Bridgestone Moulton draws on Moulton Cycles' long tradition of innovation and Bridgestone's legendary production prowess to make possible a revolutionary idea, a full suspension take-apart bicycle. The frame is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum, perched on 17 X 1 1/4 inch wheels that roll like a racing bike. Elastomer suspension makes the ride and handling like nothing else on pavement. An elegant, simple and light break-apart joint in the main frame member makes this the perfect travel bike. Even the pedals pop off using a clever quick-release device. Cantilever racks make it a capable tourer. It has fenders. It breaks down into a very small package. Weight is comparable to lightweight touring bikes.

Elastomer front suspension. High quality metal fenders. Note that travelling with a bike with fenders is usually difficult since taking the wheels off doesn't bring the size down much. This is one reason why take-apart bikes are ideal for travel.

While not an inexpensive bike, the Bridgestone Moulton brings all the functional innovations found on the top-of-the-line spaceframed Moulton for approximately half the price. While we currently only have silver, there are several colors which we may stock in the future, including dark British green and black. The bike weighs approximately 11.4 kg (25 lbs.) in touring form, which includes a kickstand and fenders. The sport model comes with drop bars and no fenders and weighs 10.8 kg (23.8 lbs.) price is $1950.00
