Our Plain Musette is a simple envelope-style bag with a snap closure and fixed-length shoulder strap. The Plain Musette is a durable interpretation of the classic cycling musette, designed to ride high on the body. The 41 inch strap length is ideal for most users.
In colors in cotton canvas or in natural waxed cotton.
The Plain Musette is constructed from only the highest quality materials including stout, closely woven cotton canvas with mil-spec cotton webbing. Edges are bound in waxed cotton tape, and stress points are bar-tacked. Cotton duck fabrics and thread are of US origin; khaki webbing is sourced from the UK.

Archival Flap Musette

Made from stout closely woven waxed cotton, combines the simplicity of the cycling musette with the durability and function of a field bag. Slightly bigger than our Plain Musette, it has a snap closure, adjustable strap, double-layer reinforced bottom, and two internal pockets. The strap adjusts from 41 to 52 inches, accommodating most users. Each bag is hand-numbered on the leather tab.
Highest quality materials: Waxed cotton fabrics, leather, and thread are of US origin. Webbing and most of our brass hardware is sourced from the UK.
